With this piece I was trying to take on the advice I had got at Thoughtbubble UK and tried to infuse a bit more character and location into my pieces.

The characters are from a preview of the new Porcelain novel I got from Improper books [link] at the Thoughtbubble event.

It's been an on and off project for the last couple of months so I'm not quite sure how long I've spent on it. Hopefully people like it and feel I'm improving, let me know what you think below. Thanks!

This is a great drawing! You definitely did a good job at infusing character and location in it. I love how it's got a sort of steam punk vibe to it, especially with the mechanized wolf. I've never read the book this picture is based off, but this guy seems like even though he's older and not quite what he used to be, he was once quite a force to be reckoned with and could still probably kick someone's butt!

Thanks for taking the time to write a little bit about my piece :) They currently have a preview of the book up here [link] which gives you a feel for the book and what I used to make my piece. I like the Steampunk feel to it too because it's not so over the top were everyone seems to have like flight googles on there heads :) Glad you like the piece and thanks again for the write up!
